Roast Battle UK puts two comedians head-to-head in a battle of wit and put-downs. Each comic has 5 jokes to ”roast” their opponent. The opponent can respond with an off the cuff rebuttal. Ultimately, the winner is decided by a guest panel of audacious judges.

From November 2018 until April 2019, we held our first ‘Premier League’ season. The season ended in May with a month-long Play-Off season. The champion of the 2018/2019 season was Ben Clover, with Jonny Gillam and Philipp Kosteleky runners up. In October 2019 we started the second Premier League season. You can follow the rankings here.
During the month of August, Roast Battle UK fakes the show to the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2018 and 2019 we have sold out every show with Roast Battle Edinburgh.
The first Roast Battle started in the Belly Room at The Comedy Store LA in 2013. Since then, the Roast Battle format has been taking the world by storm, with independent leagues starting in places like Edinburgh, Liverpool, Tokyo, Berlin and Dublin. Roast Battle London started in Feb 2017 at the Hideaway Comedy Club and is now a very popular show at The Bill Murray in Islington.
Roast Battle London and Roast Battle Edinburgh are independent entities and are not associated with the Comedy Central programe of the same name.
